Tilda is on the move.... New home...

My Mum asked me to make her a card for a friend who is moving house after the recent death of her husband, she`s finding the memories too painful where she is, so this is what I came up with... what do you think?!

Tilda house image kindly donated by crafter, scroll and butterfly paper and `New beginnings` sentiment from Alex, ribbons, flowers, charm and cardstock from stash... Inside Tilda holding Crows feet bouquet, Basic Grey Sultry papers cut with Nesties (my bday pressie from Patsi)

Bank Holiday challenge...

Been ages since I got the chance to craft (hence the very quiet blog) so really been making the most of it this weekend, set myself another challenge today, to make a card with a verse/quote/text on the front, as this is something i hate, therefore avoid like the plague!! Took me quite a while to do this one and not too sure how I feel about the finished article which is still a little wet in pics...

Card blank and punchies, gems and pearls from stash, Crows foot Tilda imnage coloured with watercolour pencils, flourish copied of one from Eisbaerin and quote from Colorbok, Girl quotes

Thanks for looking and I hope you are having a great Bank Holiday wherever you are x

'Make three cards in a day'

Set myself and everyone interested on the DoCrafts forum the challenge of making three cards today... This is what I came up with...

First card, was also combined with this week`s Tilda challenge (on DC forum), set by Patsi...Purple and green with 3 buttons, sentiment and some bling!

New fence and summer background stamp, Tilda donated by a kind DC member, sentiment from Alex (Eisbaerin) paper is Pocket Full of Posies and lots of liquid pearls which haven`t quite dried yet as the bling...

Second card, decided to make card for a boy which I always find difficult!

Card blank cut by hand, Edwin image donated by a kind DC member, sentiment from Alex (Eisbaerin) cut with Nesties, background paper is Basic Grey Archaic set. Flourish cut by hand (copied off one from Alex- again!) Ribbon and bling stones from stash.

And then for my third and final card for this challenge, I decided to make a christmas card, as you can never start too early... Also combined this with Foxy's chellenge which had to be themed pink, blue and cream, but by special permission she has let me go with white instead of cream....

Tilda image donated by a kind DC member, backing papers from Sizzix mat stacks and DCWV Rose tinted christmas set. Large snowflake cut by hand (ooh felt like a Brownie again) silver punchies using xcut snowflake punch, tab from Stampin' Up tab punch kindly donated by Alex, 'With Love' sentiment sticker, eyelets, ribbon and charm from stash

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy making three cards today too x

George loves George....

Not the usual combination of Dottie and George together, but I needed a card for a very special couple on their Civil Partnership which was yesterday (great day!!) and I asked Louise for a bit of help with this one and she told me how I could change the images... This is what I came up with, I hope you like it! And many many thanks to Louise!

Colours for the partnership were burgundy and gold, so tried to use only these for the card really, quite like the finished article, first time I have made an acetate card.
